We built IJR.ai to sharpen thinking, not to harvest data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the controls you have over it.
We collect information in three ways:
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your conversation content to train our own models without your explicit opt-in.
We share your information only in the following circumstances: with sub-processors who help us operate the Service (database hosting, email delivery, analytics) under strict data processing agreements; when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process; to protect the rights, property, or safety of IJR AI, our users, or the public; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice provided to you. When you use the share-thread feature, only the specific messages in that thread become visible to anyone with the link — your account details remain private.
We retain your account data and conversation history for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. billing records kept for 7 years) or needed to prevent abuse. Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest, least-privilege access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@ijr.ai. We will respond within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a prominent notice within the Service before the change takes effect. The “Effective date” at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
